01Who we are

HerCode LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company (“HerCode,” “we,” “us”), runs this website, hercode.io, and publishes software apps. You can reach us at hello@hercode.io.

02What this website collects

This website has no accounts, forms, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or cookies. We don’t collect personal information through it.

One service provider processes basic technical data when you visit, as part of delivering the page to your browser:

• Hosting. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log visitors’ IP addresses for security and to keep the service running. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

The site’s fonts are hosted on hercode.io itself, so no font service receives your information.

03When you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply, provide support, or handle what you asked about, such as a commission inquiry. We won’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.

We keep emails as long as we need them to help you and to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations, then delete them.

04Our apps

Each HerCode app gets its own section on this page before it is released, describing what data the app handles, where it is stored, and why. App store listings also show each app’s privacy details.

Purchases are processed by the store you buy from (such as the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the Microsoft Store). We never receive your payment card details.

Work you create in our apps belongs to you.

05Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers described above, or when the law requires it.

06Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email hello@hercode.io and we will delete it.

07Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@hercode.io. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We will honor requests as the law requires.

08Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

09Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted on the home page.
